This is an original watercolor painting titled 'Prickly Pear'. It is a 5x7 painting with an 8x10 matte.

This painting was painted in plein air deep in the heart of Texas. I really loved how the cactus had natural pools of light and shade. I also like the gold, green, red, and purple color pallet was really fun and balanced.
